The BD Somani International School is an International Baccalaureate- and IGCSE-certified school in Mumbai, India. It is located in the Cuffe Parade area in South Mumbai. The school opened in July 2006 and is headed by Don Gardner. It is in the same compound as the G. D. Somani Memorial School, the B. D. Somani Institute of Fashion, as well as kindergarten and nursery schools. The first students graduated in May 2008 and in August of that year it expanded by offering ninth- and tenth-grade classes. The school was started by Aradhana Somani, who also runs the G. D. Somani School. ==Facilities== The school building has seven storeys and is situated in large grounds. There is of teaching space. Every classroom has a display and writing boards, lockers for students, Internet access and air conditioning. In addition to this, there are laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and teaching rooms for Art, Social Science, Languages, Computer Studies, and Mathematics.
